Closings: Aldo Bernardi closes his factory during the month of August. Any orders placed July - August will require additional lead time. Shipping Ollier Distributors Inc. will handle all shipping, crating, handling, duties and custom clearance for client, unless the client provides alternative shipping instructions and arrangements in writing. Shipping charges will be included on invoice (billed at current rates) as part of complete order. We suggest shipping to a professional receiver. Please include contact name and phone number with the shipping address. Damage Claims All claims for damages incurred in transit must be directed to Ollier Distributors Inc. via email within 48 hours of receipt. Any damage or missing items must be noted on the freight bill before it is signed, if possible. PLEASE SEND PHOTOS OF DAMAGE, INSIDE AND OUT, AND HOLD ON TO PACKING MATERIALS at shipping address for inspection. Failure of timely report will result in forfeiture of replacement or repairs of damaged or lost goods. Goods cannot be returned. In the case of manufacturer defects, we will work with the manufacturer to replace defective items. Customization The L'Impianto surface mounted wiring system and Civetta can all be custom designed (within parameters) using standard items. Please inquire. Aldo Bernardi also welcomes custom design requests that are specified using components of available fixtures. Please contact us with your ideas and customization requests at info@ollierdistributors.com. Drawings or sketches with dimensions are required. Finishes Aldo Bernardi is well known for his exceptional living finish - an "aged" patina on metals that changes as it is impacted by specific environmental "agents" and atmospheric conditions over time. The specifications in catalogs and on tear sheets detail available finishes for any particular fixture. For significant quantities, Aldo Bernardi is open to creating custom finishes.
